The roof rail seal attaches to the windshield post and go back over the tops of the windows to the back of the car, this is the seal that the front and top of the windows seal against. This seal takes a lot of abuse from the weather and from the roll up windows pushing against it, if your car is getting water inside when it rains or making a lot of wind noise then it is time to replace your roof rail seals.
